Our Story

This concept was born from wanting to suspend the heaviness Katrina was feeling in her life and she was just needing an excuse to laugh and feel free. This shoot is such a whirlwind that there is no time to think or worry about striking the perfect pose and it truly invites you to live in the moment, embrace joy, and let those giggles out!

1.) In my 60 second portrait experience, the background changes constantly, so you can't predict what will be behind you when the image is captured. 2.) I was taking selfies, with the camera on a 2 second timer, and I'd run in front of the camera and dance and jump and laugh at myself, with no rhyme or reason as to where I stopped, other than a general, I think I'm in front of the camera at a decent spot (only 2 seconds to get in place, remember). 3.) My therapist tells me that I shoot out rainbows into the world, much like the care bear stare. 4.) This image was captured, without plan, without reason, and unbeknownst to me until I reviewed it afterwards. 5.)
